Act 2:17 NIV- In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

We’ve heard this scripture a lot. And for some, it may be hard to imagine what this might look like when God pours his Spirit out on all people. It starts by believing that God isn’t limited to written text only. Or, that he is only a memory in the Bible when you’ve read from book to book. In fact, the Word of God is alive and active (Hebrews: 4:12). His words and existence still breathe life and his Spirit feeds many in an impactful way. This means his existence was and still is available in our lives. When he pours out his Spirit, it increases our desire for him so that we hunger, we thirst and know that we know that it is the best and only thing we’ll ever need to satisfy our souls. Period.

Revelation 1:8 NIV- I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

THE HOLY SPIRIT’S POWER (In The Bible)
In the book of Acts, chapter 2, it describes what is known as the Day of Pentecost. The disciples were gathered together in Jerusalem and tongues of fire rested on them and they were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues as the Spirit enabled them. Then, God-fearing Jews from every nation heard them speaking in their own native languages and were amazed as the disciples were declaring the wonders of God. This was the gift that Jesus promised them that his Father would provide. The beautiful thing is the same opportunity to be filled with and receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit still continues as a life-changing reality along with other experiences too, deepening our relationship with God.

HIS SPIRIT OUTPOURS TODAY
Today thousands have experienced the reality from the outpouring of God’s Spirit brought to life in numerous ways. Many are having dreams where they awaken with a sense of urgency to share their message because God had moved their spirit during rest. Others are seeing visions where they feel that it carries much importance and the need to interpret it weighs heavy on the heart. Some are even seeing repetitive patterns, words, and numbers of the same, over and over again that represent a reminder or a need to pay attention to. These personal encounters along with God’s presence have confirmed and strengthened the faith of believers, and even non-believers to look up. His Spirit can use anything or anyone to send his message through.

HOW HAS GOD’S SPIRIT REACHED YOU?
Because we now live in the age of technology, it has enabled everyday people all over the world to share over YouTube and social media their dreams and visions with the public out of the moving of God’s Spirit inside of them. Individuals have been moved to tears, joy, and revelation while sharing warnings, encouragement, or concern. I believe there is an uprising moving through the earth, where God’s Spirit is speaking to us to repent of our sins and turn to Jesus and Jesus Christ only. To understand that His return, to rapture the body of believers draws near and that God’s wrath toward evil and those who have chosen to reject God the Father and his Son is not some fantasy, but a real thing. We need his Spirit to move through all of us to accept and understand the things of God. There’s a stirring going on……..

1 Corinthians 2:11-14 NIV- For who knows a person’s thoughts except for their own spirit within them? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

I too have had dreams representative of the rapture, seeing what appeared to be a Bridegrooms crown, seeing repetitive numbers, and seeing the words “TIME” vividly in my dreams to represent Christ’s return which draws nearer. Feeling an urgency to let friends and loved ones understand the importance to pray and accepting the gift of salvation in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins while there is still time.

John 16:13However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come.

HIS SPIRITUAL PRESENCE CONTINUES
So is the Holy Spirit still present? Absolutely. The Holy Spirit is still whispering, still that still small voice, still a great comfort and solid reminder in your everyday thoughts. Still empowering people as an instrument for God to work through. Still filling and overflowing millions with the ability to speak in tongues. Still healing, moving, working, and convicting. Still planting seeds and laying a heavy anointing in the midst of burdens. Still showing people what was, and is to come. Still stirring people with dreams, visions, and impressions, and still moving people to do what they’re typically incapable of in their own power or strength. Aaaaaaahhh…

DO YOU DESIRE HIS SPIRIT?
If you need God’s spiritual indwelling or refreshing refill, I encourage you to first invite Jesus in your heart and then welcome the invitation of the Holy Spirit to be fully activated in your life today, to lead and guide you through the days in which we live. Don’t make it an option, make Him a necessity!

Matthew 28:20 NIV- And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
